This module will introduce you to payroll and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act as well as basic business ethics. Learners will be able to complete the payroll function from the bookkeeping perspective. You will also learn how to complete SARS payroll returns (EMP201, IRP 5, IT3a, IRP501) as well as how to complete the VAT201 return.

This module covers basic contract law, insolvency law, estate planning, internal and computer auditing. It also covers unspoken business law, the written laws of business, managing your personal finances, accounting systems and stock control.
This module covers project and performance management in the public sector. Learn how to plan, budget and do management accounting in a government department. Learn about economic principles, management information systems and public sector financial statements.
